The webcam at Effelsberg

Around 200 m south-west of the telescope, on a post at a height of around 15 m sits the Effelsberg webcam, delivering a picture every 30 s.
A movie showing the telescope during a campaign to observe intra-day variable sources. Several sources, the target(s) and the calibrators, are observed subsequently in a quick loop. This becomes obvious when you run the movie at two or four times its intrinsic speed of 25 frames per second (7.4M).
A nice little movie showing how the telescope is moving at about the same speed as the rising moon (791k).
A movie showing a receiver change. At around 8:30 a.m. on the 15 December, you can see something being lifted to the prime focus (6.9M).
