David F. Gray,
The observation and analysis of stellar photospheres,
2nd ed., Cambridge University Press, 1992,
ISBN 0 521 40868 7 (paperback),
ISBN 0 521 40320 0 (hardcover).
Unfortunately, the book is expensive and difficult to get in
the stores; delivery times can be long.
WARNING: book price plus shipping can differ radically
(roughly between SEK 400 and SEK 700).
You can compare several Internet booksellers, for example, at
pricerunner.com.
You can also find the book in the student section of the
library here, but since there are only two copies,
please be kind and remain in the library while you are
reading so that other students have a chance to find the
book, too.
Finally, once you have the book, be sure to look at these corrections!
R. J. Rutten, Lecture notes on Radiative Transfer in Stellar Atmospheres (December 2000 version).
