  First Announcement:
Quasars are the extremely luminous active centres of galaxies, drawing their energy from mass accretion onto a black hole.Observations in the X-ray, UV-optical, infrared and radio regimes as well as theoretical models reveal a diversity among quasars. This has been interpreted as clear signature of both cosmological and individual evolution of quasars. The splinter-meeting shall congregate the experts reporting in an easily understandable way about the actual status of their fields and interchanging ideas.
