Exhibition "Finding shapes - writing shapes" together with M. Reza Ghafariha at 'Musisches Zentrum der Ruhr-Universität Bochum' (from 15 April to 23 July 2010; then slightly modified, condensed, and extended to November), at the occasion of the Ruhr region having been elected as a Cultural Capital of Europe.

The exhibition juxtaposes art (graphics, sculpture) that evolves from Persian writing (MRG) with sculpture and photos (ET) that, with elements of chance, derive from stone blocks, wood pieces and graphical scenery found.

As of 1 July, my part of the exhibition has been somewhat reduced, and some sculptures exchanged. However, the joint exhibition remained in place till November.

At Livermore (CA, USA), I have begun to decorate the newly occupied wing of building B481 with sculptures, photos, and chalk sketches. (Placing ytong sculptures near the pond in the building atrium was considered a violation of building policy - but they looked good there.) The first batch of photos addresses the San Francisco bay Area from the beach to the hills beyond LIvermore.
