Die Fortsetzung der Ausstellung "BücherKöpfeSkulpturenVerbund" in der Verbundbibliothek in GA
dauert in den Bereichen Geschichte, Erziehungswissenschaften und Philosophie an, mit derzeit etwa 111 Stücken.
Der Zugang zur Bibliothek liegt auf der Etage 3 im Nordosten des Gebäudes GA der RUB (Holztür GA 3/41).
Die Bibliothek erstreckt sich über die Etagen 1 bis 5.

Koronaschließung der RUB / Corona lockdown of the university (including the libraries) from 18 Mar 2020 (in various degrees) to ... 2022. Gradual return to university life and to face-to-face (masked) teaching since Fall of 2021. Libraries offer limited access.
Koronaschließung des MZ / Corona lockdown of the university center for the arts since 18 Mar 2020 to ... when? Seminars have resumed in October 2021, workshop access is being considered (I hear), but not yet in sight.

19. April 2022: Ende Gelände: Die Interpretation des MZ-Betriebs wird durch die Leitung auf die "künstlerische Betätigung innerhalb des Bildungsauftrages der Universität" verengt; als Kursangebot tritt allerdings nur noch der Optionalbereich auf. Es wird (derzeit ?) im Interesse einer rechtssicheren Zugangsregelung kein (offener) Atelierbetrieb außerhalb der Kurse angeboten. Ein großer Teil der bisherigen Nutzer, die der Universität aktiv oder als Ehemalige/Alumni angehören, hat jetzt keinen Zugang mehr. Sehr schade. Bildhauerei gibt es nicht mehr, nur Zeichnen usw. und Arbeiten mit Ton, mit einer Arbeitsperiode pro Woche.
Summer term: The access to the arts workshop is being limited to official courses, which are offered only within the beginners' curriculum of the university. The healthy idea of an open arts workshop meeting place for all university-related people is apparently being phased out. How sad. No class for sculpting in wood/stone; only sketching etc. and pottery appear on the menu.
